Thoor Dal Thuvayal- Variety 1
Ingredients:

Thoor dal 40 gm

Red chilli 1

Ghee for frying

Coconut(grated) 3 tbsp

Salt to taste
Method:
Fry the dal and red chilly in a little ghee until the dal turns golden
brown.
Add coconut and salt and grind into a smooth paste sprinkling a little
water as and when required. Water should not be used excessively, since
thuvayal should not be runny.
Thoor Dal Thuvayal- Variety 2
Fry 3 tsp of thoor dal, 2 tsp of channa dal and 2 red chillies in a little
ghee, until the dals turns brown; grind into a smooth paste along with
a tbsp of grated coconut and salt sprinkling water as and when required.
