Ingredients For Chapati:

wheat flour 1 cup

oil 2 tbsp

salt 1/4 tsp

coriander paste 2 tbsp

a big pinch of turmeric powder
For Masala:

finely chopped coriander leaves 1 cup
-
roasted gram flour 2 tbsp
-
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
-
red chilli powder 1 tsp
-
ginger-chilli paste 1 tsp
-
a big pinch of garam masala

oil for shallow frying
-
salt to taste

a big pinch of asafoetida
Method:
Make dough out of all the ingredients for chapati. Knead doughlike puri
and divide into 12 parts. Roll out chapatis of the same size. Mix all the
masala with coriander leaves. Divide into six parts. Spread masala on one
chapati and cover with second chapati. stick edges lightly. Roast on hot
skillet and apply oil on both sides. Serve with chutney or curds.
Yields 6 pieces
