Poosani Moar Kootu
Ingredients:
- poosani or white pumpkin- 1/2 of the vegetable
- coconut 4 tsp
- cumin 1 1/2 tsp
- red chillies or green chillies 3
- turmeric powder a pinch
- curd 3 cups
- coconut oil
- mustard 1 tsp
Method:
Wash, chop and cook the poosani. Grind coconut, cumin and chillies to a fine paste. Add this to the cooked poosani along with buttermilk, turmeric powder and asafoetida powder.
Boil them till nice aroma comes or till foams. Heat coconut oil and add mustard. When they splutter add them to the boiling kootu. Serve hot.
