Pressure cook together chopped vegetables, tomato, onion, ginger, dal and cinnamon in two cups of water on high to low heat for 10-15 mins. Remove from heat and allow the pressure cooker to cool naturally. Pass the mixture through a soup strainer. Transfer to a pan and add water to make it four cups in volume. Put the pan on medium heat. Mix corn flour with four tbsp water and stir into the soup. Cook for 2-3 mins and remove. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
