Instant Rava Idli
Ingredients:
- Rava - 1 1/2 cup
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Coriander chopped - 1 tbsp
- Green chillies Chopped - 4
- Ginger grated - 1/2 inch
- Curry leaves chopped - 10-12 leaves
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Curds - 2 cups
- Cashew pieces - a few (optional)
Method:
Fry rava till pink and cool it. In a pan add oil and fry mustard and cashews for a minute. Mix all other ingredients with rava.
Add curds before preparing the idlis. The batter should be in thick consistency. Pour a tbsp of batter in the idli plate and make
idlis as usual.
Note: Add soda just before making the idlies to get soft idlies.
