Method:

Cut tomatoes and carrots into pieces and make puree. Melt butter and saute onions, garlic and celery till soft. Add puree and enough water to make six servings. Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.

Prepare dumpling mixture by mixing all the ingredients. Make tiny balls. Put them in the boiling soup. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
