Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onions and ginger. When golden, add sliced vegetables except cabbage and cook till just tender. Roast dhalia in one teaspoon oil till golden. Keep aside. To the cooked vegetable mix, add green chillies, beans sprouts and spring onions. Cook for 3 more minutes, add the cabbage last with salt, soya sauce and a pinch of ajino moto. Cook for 3 more minutes. When dhalia is done, add the cornflour paste to thicken. Serve chow mein piping hot.
