Vegetable Biryani
Ingredients:
- ghee 3 tbsp
- cinnamon 1" piece
- cardamom 2 pods
- onion 1/2 cup
- cloves 2
- potato 1/2 cup
- tomato 3
- beans 1/2 cup
- salt to taste
- chilli powder 1 tsp
- cabbage 1/2 cup
- carrot 1/2 cup
- curry leaves and coriander leaves a few
- rice 1 cup
- water 1 1/4 cup
- mint leaves 1/2 bunch
Method:
Put ghee in the pan. Add cut onions in it. Then add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. After that add beans, cabbage, potato, carrot and all other vegetables. Make a paste
with tomato, mint leaves, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Add this to the cooking vegetables. Add the rice. Fry for few minutes. Add water. Again fry for 1 minute.
Close the pan till the rice is cooked.
