Tamarind Leaves Powder
Ingredients:
- tender tamarind leaves 1 cup heaped(dried under the sun)
- red chillies 15
- grated dry coconut 1 tbsp
- sesame seeds 1 tbsp
- black gram dhal 1 tsp
- garlic 5 flakes(with skin)
Method:
Fry red chillies in little oil. Dry roast sesame seeds and black gram dal separately, till light brown. Dry coconut under the sun for 1 or 2 hours. Powder everything with enough salt.
Add dried leaves and garlic at the end and pound well. Store in clean containers.
