Sevai Rasu
Ingredients:
For the Sevai

1 Cup of rice flour

2 Cups of water

a pinch of Salt

1 tsp oil
For the Rasu
-
2 tbsp coconut milk
-
2 cups of milk

1/4 cup jaggery powdered
Method :
Sevai
On a medium flame, mix the rice flour and the water. Once the mixture is
hot keep stirring it till the rice flour cooks, the color of the rice flour
turns pink and the paste will turn to ball consistency(approx 17 minutes).
Add the oil. When the paste is still hot, apply a little oil and make big
balls from the paste. Steam these in a cooker for about 10 mins. To test
whether the balls are cooked well, poke a clean knife into the ball. If
the knife comes out clean, then the ball is cooked well. Just like making
chaklis, make sevai using sevai mould. To make rasu just mix all the ingredients
to a fine juice and chill. Pour the rasu over sevai.
