Peanut Brownies
Ingredients:

Square bitter chocolate 2

Coarsely chopped groundnuts 3/4 cup

Shortening dalda 1/4 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp

Egg 2

Sifted all purpose flour 1/4 cup

Baking powder 1/4 tsp
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degree F, lightly grease a 9"X9" square pan. On top
of a double boiler, melt chocolate and shortening over hot water(not boiling)
and then remove. With a wooden spoon beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla and
mix well. Sift flour with baking powder and mix it with the chocolate mixture.
Stir well and pour mixture into greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Let pan
cool on wire rack. Cut into squares. Makes 16 pieces.
