Heat the butter in a pan and fry the finely minced onion to a golden brown. THen add the sliced mushrooms and a quarter cup of water. Simmer till the mushrooms are cooked. Now add the cooked noodles and the green peas. Make a paste of the cornflour with a little milk and add to the simmering soup. Pour in the rest of the milk. Add pepper powder and salt to taste. Serve piping hot.
