Moru Dosa
Ingredients:
- buttermilk 1 litre
- whole wheat flour 3 cups
- salt to taste
- fat 60 gm
- green chillies 3 to 4
- ginger 2.5 cm
- curry leaves a few sprig
- mustard seeds 1 tsp
- soda bicarb 1 tsp
- fat for frying
Method:
Mix together buttermilk and flour and set aside for 1/2 to 1 hour. Add salt and more water to form a pouring batter. Heat 60 gm fat. Add chopped chillies, ginger, curry leaves and mustard seeds. When the seeds crackles pour over batter and mix well. Add soda bicarb
dissolved in a little water and mix well.Heat a griddle. Grease with oil and make dosas as usual.
