Mangai Sadam
Ingredients:
- par boiled rice 200 g
- raw mango 1
- oil for seasoning
- mustard 1 tsp
- red chillies 5
- garlic 10 cloves
- urad dal 1 tsp
- channa dal 1 tsp
- cashewnuts 1 tsp
- curry leaves few
- turmeric powder a pinch
- salt to taste
Method:
Cook rice and allow it to cool. Separate the grains. Grate mango without skin. Heat oil and add mustard, urad dal, channa dal, cashewnuts, red chillies, curry leaves and
garlic. When they are fried add 100 ml water and boil. Add mango in it along with turmeric powder and salt. When the mango is done add rice and stir well. Remove when the rice
is mixed well with mango mixture.
