Lime Pickle
Ingredients:

Lemon 12

Oil 1/2 cup

Asafetida, fried and pounded

Garlic 1 tbsp

Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
For Seasoning:

Mustard 1/2 tbsp

Dried chilli powder 1 cup

Turmeric powder 1 tsp
-
Fenugreek powder 1 tsp

Asafetida powder 1 tsp

Salt 1/2 cup
Method:
Heat the oil, brown the lemons and keep aside. Heat half cup oil and fry
ginger and garlic till brown. Fry the mustard and add all the fried ingredients.
Mix well. SPlit the limes into quarters. Stuff the mixture in each lime.
Pack the limes in a dry jar. Sprinkle a little masala. After three or four
days, add 3/4 cup of boiled oil and sufficient salt. The pickle will be
ready after a fortnight.
