Green Peas Burfi
Ingredients:

1 cup green peas, crushed

1/4 cup cashewnuts coarsely powdered

1/4 cup dessicated coconut

1 cup mawa crumbs (khoya)

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

1 1/2 tbsp ghee

silver vark to decorate
Method:
Roast cashewnut powder and dessicated coconut seperately, till crisp. Take
out in a plate. Take mawa and roast till the ghee seperates. Take 1/2 tbsp
ghee in a vessel. Melt it, add green peas and roast till cooked. Stir often
so that it does not stick to the vessel.
Take 1 tbsp ghee in a non stic pan and melt it. Add all roasted ingredients
and powdered sugar. Mix and cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the
vessel. Mix cardamom powder and remove from heat. Take out in a greased
tray. Press and level. Stick silver vark. Cut square or round pieces with
a cutter on cooling.
