Chop 2 onions finely. Heat oil and add mustard, urad dal, chana dal, green chillies(cut into pieces) and ginger. When the green chillies turn brown add the onions and fry well. Add 1 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tsp salt to the onion and let them boil. Add the godumai ravai when the water boils. When it thickens remove from fire. If necessary water or oil can be added.
