Daal Soup
Ingredients:

Masur dal 1/2 cup

Tomatoes, chopped 2-3

Onion finely chopped 1

Cloves 4

Salt and pepper to taste

Water 4-5 cups
Method:
Pressure cook together masur dal, tomatoes, onion and cloves in three cups
of water on high to low heat for 15-20 mins. Remove and allow the pressure
cooker to cool naturally. Pass the cooked mixture through a soup strainer.
Add water to make it 4 cups in volume, bring to a boil and remove. Serve
hot, seasoned with salt and pepper.
