Cucumber Chutney
Ingredients:

Cucumber peel (chopped) 2 cups

Tuvar dal 2 tsp

Red Chilli 2/3

Green Chilli 1 or 2

Asafoetida a pinch

Curry Leaves a few

Tamarind Pulp 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Coconut grated 1 cup
Seasonings:

Oil 2 tsp
-
Mustards seeds 1/2 tsp

Red Chilli 1

Asafoetida a pinch

1cm ginger
Method:
Heat one teaspoon of oil; fry the dal, chillies, asafoetida and curry leaves
till light brown.
Add the peel and fry for five more minutes and allow to cool. Grind
to a coarse paste along with the rest of the ingredients. Season with the
mentioned ingredients.
Serve with rice, chapati or puries.
