Coriander Seeds Podi
Ingredients:
- coriander seeds 50 gm
- mustard 1 tsp
- urad dal 2 tsp
- channa dal 1 tsp
- asafoetida 1/4 tsp
- red chillies 8
- salt to taste
- tamarind the size of a small lemon
- oil for frying and seasoning
Method:
Rid the tamarind seeds. Fry brown, in oil, coriander seeds, urad dal and channa dal one by one. Fry mustard in oil. Gry red chillies in oil for a couple of minutes. Grind tamarind salt, red chillies and coriander seeds
into a fine powder, then add mustard, urad dal, asafoetida powder and channa dal and grind all over again and serve.
