Coconut Podi
Ingredients:
- coconut, large ripe with thick kernel 1
- oil for frying
- red chillies 40 gm
- salt to taste
- asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp
- mustard 1 tsp
- urad dal 50 gm
Method:
Grate the coconut, fry brown in a little oil. Similarly, fry in oil, the other ingredients one by one separately. Grind coconut, red chillies, salt and asafoetida powder into a coarse powder.
Add mustard and urad dal to teh coarse powder and grind lightly and serve.
