Coconut Chutney- Variety 1

Grind coconut and green chillies into a smooth paste, sprinkling a little water. Season with fried mustard. Add lemon juice and salt to taste, mix well and serve.
This variety of chutney can be used as side dish for snacks like Vada, Bonda, Bajji, etc.

Coconut chutney- variety 2

This variety can be used as side dish for snacks like Idli, Dosa, Chapathi, etc.

Soak the channa dal in a little water. After 10 minutes drain the channa dal and grind it into a smooth paste along with coconut and green chillies adding a little water.
Season with fried mustard and urid dal. Add asafoetida powder salt and lemon juice and serve.
