Coconut Chutney- Variety 1
Ingredients:

Coconut,grated 1/2

Green chillies 6
-
Juice of lemon
-
Mustard 1 tsp
-
Salt to taste

Oil for seasoning
Method:
Grind coconut and green chillies into a smooth paste, sprinkling a little
water. Season with fried mustard. Add lemon juice and salt to taste, mix
well and serve.
This variety of chutney can be used as side dish for snacks like Vada,
Bonda, Bajji, etc.

This variety can be used as side dish for snacks like Idli, Dosa, Chapathi,
etc.
Ingredients:

Coconut grated 1/2

Channa dal 1 tbsp

Green Chillies 8
-
Mustard 1/2 tsp
-
Urid dal 1 tsp
-
A pinch of asafoetida powder
-
Juice of lemon to taste
-
Oil for seasoning.
Method:
Soak the channa dal in a little water. After 10 minutes drain the channa
dal and grind it into a smooth paste along with coconut and green chillies
adding a little water.
Season with fried mustard and urid dal. Add asafoetida powder salt
and lemon juice and serve.
