Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin. When the cumin pops up add the beans, salt and chilli powder. Let it cook till the beans are tender. To reduce cooking time, the beans can be precooked in a microvave or pressure cooker. If the vegetable is cooked before add this to the popping cumin along with salt and chilli powder. When the vegetables are tender remove from fire.
