Ravai Paniyaram

Soak the rava in just enough water to cover it for 1/2 an hour. Add the sugar, coconut and flour to it and mix thoroughly. The batter should be of pouring consistency. Heat the oil in a frying pan and drop large spoonfull of the batter in the hot oil. The batter will spread to flat round paniyaram in the oil. Cook both the sides well till golden brown. Remove it from the oil and place on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve it hot. If perfectly done the sides will be slightly crisp and the centres soft.
