Dal Pakvan


For Masala Paste


Soak channa dal for 3 hours and pressure cook with a little water. Melt ghee add cinnamon and cloves. Add masala paste after 30 seconds. Saute till ghee seperates. Add turmeric, red chilli powder and tamarind pulp. Then add cooked dal. Mix and simmer for five minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Serve with crisp black pepper puri.
