1 cup maida
1/2 cup sugar
a few drops of vanilla essence
small bits of glazed cherries for decoration
3/4 cup butter
Cream the butter and sugar with the palm of your hand in a plastic bowl.
Gradually add the maida. Keep covered with a wet cloth for about half an
hour. Then make small balls of the dough. Press cherry bit on top. Slightly
grease a baking tray and place it on the wire mesh of tandoor. Keep the
tray inches apart. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes in the heated tandoor.
