Soak chana dal, tur dal, both the rices, urad dal. Now grind them along with coconut. Add red chillies, asafoetida and salt and grind coarsely. Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard. When it crackles add onions, green chillies, coriander and curry leaves and fry. Add this to the ground mixture. Heat oil in a deep pan and make small balls out of the mixture and fry them in the hot oil.
