Tasty Dal Kababs
Ingredients:
- Lentil(masoor dal) 1 cup
- Channa dal 1/4 cup
- Moong dal 1/4 cup
- Urad dal 1/4 cup
- Onions 1/4 cup, grated
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Green chilli-ginger paste 2 tsp
- Roasted cumin seed powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Amchur powder 1 tbsp
- Soda bi carb 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 2 tsp
- Methi leaves, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of asafoetida
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
Soak all dals for 3 hrs and make a coarse paste. Put methi leaves in a vessel and rub little salt and sugar till soft. Add to
dal mixture. Now mix in other ingredients. Beat the mixture to make it light. Heat oil and deep fry kababs. Serve with coriander
chutney.
