Savorit Vermicelli Biryani
Ingredients:
- vermicelli 1 kg
- onions 10 large finly chopped
- garlic 50 flakes
- ginger 10 small pieces finely chopped
- cashewnuts 40 pieces
- cardamoms 20 pods
- cloves 20
- green chillies 15 finely chopped
- cauliflower 15 finely chopped
- beans 300 gms
- tomatoes 100 gms
- carrots 100 gms
- ghee or vanaspathi 15 tsp
- water 1 1/2 litre
- salt 2 tsp
- fried bread pieces 50
- sugar 1 pinch
Method:
Fry vermicelli and set aside. Fry vegetables, condiments and spices in ghee or vanaspathi for 5-7 minutes. Add water and milk, cook vegetables and vermicelli, salt and
sugar and boil fora few minutes. Switch off the flame and add bread pieces mix thoroughly. Serve after adding a squeeze of lime with onion riata.
