Paniyaram
Ingredients:
- raw rice 2 cups
- urad dal 1/2 cup
- salt 1 tsp
- oil for deep frying
Method:
Soak the rice and dhal together for about 2 hours. Grind it together to a fine batter in a blender, adding enough water. The batter should be of pouring consistency. Mix the salt, thoroughly.
Heat the oil in a saucepan. When oil is hot, pour a big spoonfull of batter in the middle of the pan and let it cook. Remove when done. If the batter thickens, add some milk to keep it to a
pouring consistency.
