Ingredients:

Masoor dal 2 cups

Green chillies 6

Ginger 1 inch piece

Chopped onion 3/4

Chopped garlic 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves, chopped 1/2 cup

Soda 1/4 tsp

Asafetida 1/4 tsp

Oil for deep frying
Method:
Soak masoor dal for 2 hours. Make coarse paste of masoor dal with green
chillies and ginger. Add rest if the ingredients and mix well. Heat oil
and deep fry pakoras to golden brown. Serve hot with sweet and sour chutney
or green coriander chutney.
