Ingredients:
- buttermilk 5 cups
- chana dal 1 1/2 cups
- salt to taste
- red chillies 4
- mustard seeds 1 tbsp
- cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- cooking oil 2 tbsp
- red chilli powder to taste
- fresh coriander leaves
Method:
Heat oil and add the mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add cumin, red chillies, salt,turmeric and chilli powder. Let the red chillies turn brown.
Add the buttermilk and reduce the heat. Add the channa flour slowly by stirring constantly so that lumps doesn't form. Allow it to simmer for
15 minutes. Keep stirring constantly. Add coriander leaves to it.
