Soak rice and both the dals together for half an hour. Then grind them along with red chillies, coconut, salt and asafoetida to a coarse paste. Cut the onions and fry them along with broken cashew pieces in a little oil. Now add this to the ground flour. Add little cooking soda to this mixture. Now heat oil in a pan. Drop this ground paste little by little and fry them till crisp and brown.
