Ingredients:

medium sized fruit chunks (pineapple, sweetlime, papaya, seedless grapes)
1 1/2 dozen
Ingredients For The Batter:

Maida 1 1/2 cups

Milk 1 cup

Baking Powder 1/2 tsp

Oil for deep frying
Ingredients For The Sauce:

Milk 2 cups

Instant Coffee Powder 1 tbsp
-
Cornflour 3 tbsp
-
Sugar 6 tbsp

A few drops of vanilla essence
Method:
First prepare the batter. Sieve the maida with the baking powder. Now add
the milk and keep mixing till a dipping consistency is acquired. More milk
could be added if necessary. Keep the batter inside. In the meanwhile make
the sauce. Heat up the milk in a saucepan. THen add the sugar. Keep stirring
for a while. Make a paste of the coffee powder and cornflour with a little
water and add this paste to the simmering milk. Keep the saucepan down
when the sauce is lightly thick. Then add the vanilla essence. Heat up
the oil in a kadai. Dip the fruit chunks a few at a time tin the batter
and deep fry in small batches to a golden brown. Drian and cool. Pour the
sauce in a sauceboat. Put the fried fruit chunks in a serving bowl. Keep
a packet of tooth picks at hand for piercing fruit chunks and dipping them
in the prepared sauce.
