Easter Biscuits
Ingredients:

Butter 100 gms

Powdered sugar 100 gms

Mixed spice 1/2 tsp(cinnamon, cardamom, cloves)

A pinch of salt

Currants 30 gms
-
Flour 200 gms
-
Chopped peels 15 gms
-
Milk 50 ml
-
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Method:
Cream butter and sugar until light. Add milk and mix well. Sieve flour,
salt and baking powder. Add chopped peels, currants and flour. Mix well
and make into a smooth dough. Roll out on a lightly floured board. Cut
with a round cutter and prick with a fork. Bake on a greased baking tray
in a moderately hot oven for about 15 to 20 mins. Remove and cool on a
tray.
