Dhakai Parathas
Ingredients:
- refined flour 450 gm
- salt to taste
- fat 30 gm
- fat for frying 30 gm
Method:
Rub part of the fat into flour. Knead to a soft dough with water. Divide dough into even sized balls. Roll each ball into a round like a chapati. Smear with fat and sprinkle a little flour over. Cut from the centre
of the round to edge. Roll from one edge to the other to form a cone. Flatten and roll into a round shape. Heat griddle. Bake parathas for a minute. Add melted fat round the edges and fry both sides till golden brown and crisp
on a slow fire.
