Separate cauliflower into chunky florets. Make a paste of cornflour and water and marinate the cauliflower and set aside for 30 minutes. Squeeze out excess water. Heat oil and fry the cauliflower pieces till golden and crisp. Drain and keep aside. Just before serving, make the sauce. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the garlic and chilli paste. Add salt and soya sauce, thicken with cornflour paste. Toss the prepared cauliflower into the sauce, coat them. Serve hot with Hakka noodles.
