Put the sugar into a saucepan. Add about 1/2 cup of water and boil till the sugar is completely dissolved. Now mix in the raisins and the pineapple pieces. Cook for about 4 to 5 mnutes. Then allow to cool. Then pour in the wine and mix gently. Peel the banana and then halve them. Slightly grill the bananas halves on both the sides to a light brown. Place these grilled banana halves in a serving dish and pour the wine mixture over. Serve hot or cold as desired.
