Tamarind Flower Sambar

Method:

Pressure cook dal till soft and mash well. Wash the flowers and cook along with potato cubes till tender in salted water. Add tamarind pulp and jaggery and boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the ground paste, cooked dal and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Season with the mentioned ingredients and pour over the sambar. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
