Pineapple Stew

Pour the water in a saucepan and drop in the cinnamon sticks and cloves. After a few bubbles, add the sugar and the pineapple slices. Cook till the sugar is dissolved. Pour out into a serving dish and remove the cloves and cinnamon. Drizzle the honey over and sprinkle the cardamom powder on the top. Refrigerate till serving time.
