Paneer Mattar



Heat the butter in a kadai and fry the onion paste to a golden brown. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears. Now mix in the chilli powder and the garam masala powder. Then add the green peas and the lightly fried paneer bits. Add salt to taste and pour in a cup of water. Simmer on a slow fire till the peas are cooked. Just before serving, mix in the slightly whipped cream and serve hot with pulao or rotis.
