Boil the whole brinjals directly in medium heat(either gas or coal). When warm remove the skin. Mash well. Grind coconut into a fine paste. Cut onions and green chillies. Heat oil in a pan and season urad dal and mustard. Add onions and green chillies and fry them till onion turns golden brown. Add coconut paste and salt. Now add the brinjal to this and heat it in a very low flame. Add curds before removing.
