Kabuli Mattar


  1. Dry peas 115 gms
  2. Lime 1/2 to 1
  3. Green chillies 15 gm
  4. Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  5. Ginger a small piece
  6. Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Cumin powder a pinch
  8. Garam masala a pinch
  9. Salt to taste


Wash and soak peas overnight preferably with a pinch of soda. Cook in the same water till soft. Mash roughly, add lime juice. salt. finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and ginger, chilli powder, garam masala powder and cumin powder. Mix well and serve.
