Grated Mango Pickle

Heat half of the oil and add mustard seeds. When it crackles, add the grated mango, turmeric powder and salt. Bring to boil and stir gently, adding a little oil from time to time. Cook till the mango becomes translucent and the oil seperates. Pour in the remaining oil. When it gets hot, add the chilli. fenugreek and asafoetida powders, blend well and remove. It lasts for 6 months.
