Chilli Garlic Rice

Ingredients:

Grind together
  • garlic 5 flakes
  • red chillies 7 bean sprouts are sprouted whole green gram. Soak whole green gram in water for 10 hours. Drain water and tie in muslin cloth. Hang for one day till it sprouts.

    Method:

    Wash and soak rice for 10 minutes. Cook in 12 to 15 cups of boiling water. When the rice is half cooked drain water and allow it to cool completely. Separate the grains using a fork. To this rice, mix the ground mixture of chillies and garlic. Heat oil in a broad frying pan and fry the prepared vegetables one by one as follows:- onions, beans, carrots, bean sprouts, capsicum, cabbage and spring onions. Add aji-no-moto while frying vegetables and stir in high flame. When the vegetables are tender, add salt and cooked rice. Continue frying in a high flame till rice becomes very hot.
